Public Relations Assistant
How did you make your way to working at NST Pictures?
I moved to New York City for grad school and was looking to gain some hands-on marketing/PR experience. NST Pictures provided the perfect opportunity in an industry that was brand new to me, which I saw as a great out-of-comfort-zone challenge.
Why did you choose the wedding industry?
You can say I sort of fell into it! I’ve always had a soft spot for weddings (and love stories). They’re like real-life modern fairytale endings and it’s just so nice to be in front of such pretty details everyday.
What do you like about working at NST Pictures?
We’re a group of girls here in the office, each with unique passions and personality. Everyone brings something different to the table, and it’s so inspiring and refreshing to be around that five days a week.
What is your favorite part of your job as one of NST’s Public Relations Assistant?
You’ve watched hundreds of weddings (literally!) so what wedding videography advice do you have for couples?
You’re spending so much time, effort and money to perfect the details of your wedding. Don’t overlook the importance of having an experienced videographer with an amazing eye to be on hand to capture everything on video so you can always revisit your wedding memories. Audio and movement make all the difference.
You’re more than just a wedding expert though, so to get to know you better, tell us about your ideal day off of work!
If I’m not traveling to new cities or traversing waterfalls and mountain roads, you can find me in front and behind the camera collaborating with other creatives, making cool content for my own blog and brands, as well as writing poetry and prose in a notebook. Throw in an enlightening conversation at an Australian coffee shop and a movie night in with my great white cat, and that’s a peek into an ideal day off of work.
