We are still buzzing with excitement and gratitude for being part of Kate and Sarah’s extraordinary LGBTQ+ wedding featured in BRIDES. This LGBTQ+ couple’s love story unfolded across Facebook messages, grand proposals, and a surprise appearance on “The Ellen Show.” Documenting their special day as the videography team was nothing short of a magical experience!

From Proposals to the Wedding Day

In 2019, Kate, a content creator with a flair for surprises, orchestrated a breathtaking proposal during a ‘dress photoshoot’ in front of the iconic Eiffel Tower. Not to be outdone, Sarah took the stage on “The Ellen Show” the following November, surprising Kate with a proposal that left everyone in awe.

While Kate took charge of the wedding plans, the in-house team at Park Chateau and the dedicated day-of coordinator, Devin Hope, ensured everything ran seamlessly. Sarah couldn’t help but gush about the amazing staff who went above and beyond, making their big day extra special. A perfect collaboration, indeed!

The details, meticulously planned by the couple and Park Chateau, were beautifully captured by Ashley Rae Photography and our videography team, creating a visual narrative that perfectly encapsulated their LGBTQ+ wedding moments. Before the ceremony kicked off, the brides shared a first look – a private moment to soak in the magic. The joy of seeing each other for the first time was undoubtedly one of the highlights of their special day for us to capture.

The Details & Design of This Inspiring LGBTQ+ Wedding Ceremony

The ceremony space at Park Chateau’s gardens and fountains was kept simple and romantic, with white rose petals lining the aisle and an open floral arch framing the vows. Orchestrated by Kristina Rogan, the ceremony was a heartfelt affair, with the couple reciting vows that echoed their timeless commitment. As the ceremony flowed seamlessly into the reception, the stunning floral displays by Twisted Willow Flowers took center stage. The staircase, seating chart, and high and low centerpieces created a dreamy atmosphere, complemented by neutral linens and candles.

Vibrant Music Choices for This LGBTQ+ Wedding Reception

The evening was a symphony of sounds, thanks to SCE Event Group and DJ Jason Jani. Live musicians, including a surprise violinist, added a magical touch to the first dance, transitioning from Adele to Drake.

Adding Some Flair to The Wedding Exit

The grand exit, decked out in “bride” fringe jackets, through a tunnel of sparklers held by their guests, marked the perfect conclusion to an unforgettable celebration.

The Honor of Having a Feature in BRIDES

Our feature in BRIDES was not just an acknowledgment of our work; it was a testament to the incredible love story of Kate and Sarah. As a videography team, we feel an immense amount of privilege to have been part of their journey, capturing moments to cherish for a lifetime.
