It’s not every day that we get to film such a magical event, let alone see our work showcased on such a prestigious platform. To say it’s an honor is an understatement. Blake, former senior editor at Carats & Cake, and her now-husband Matt, said their “I dos” in a setting that was nothing short of a fairy tale. Nestled in the serene beauty of Blue Hill at Stone Barns, their wedding was a perfect blend of rustic charm and sophisticated elegance. As wedding videographers, to capture the essence of their day is a dream come true.
The venue itself was a character in their love story. Known for its farm-to-table philosophy and picturesque landscapes, Blue Hill at Stone Barns provided a breathtaking backdrop. From the moment we arrived, we knew this wedding would be special. The rolling hills, the rustic barns, and the ethereal gardens—all bathed in the soft glow of late summer—created a scene straight out of a romance novel.
The Dream Team
Working alongside such an incredible vendor team made the experience even more remarkable. Trenholm Photo, the talented photographers, captured still moments with artistry that perfectly complemented our video footage. Ava Flora’s exquisite floral arrangements added splashes of color and life to every frame, enhancing the romantic ambiance.
Blake’s choices in attire further added to the wedding’s charm. Her ceremony dress by Jenny Yoo was a vision of timeless elegance, while her reception dress by Watters brought a touch of modern sophistication. And let’s not forget the groom, Matt, who looked every bit the part in his Dobell tuxedo. The music from Café Wha? House Band kept the energy high and the dance floor packed all night long. The soundtrack of their love story was vibrant and joyous, and we were there to capture every beat and every step.
