Happy Ending for ReBar Brides

A parade across the Brooklyn Bridge? What a way to come back from the reBar fiasco!

When reBar, a popular Brooklyn wedding venue known for its all-inclusive wedding packages, closed unexpectedly in May 2014, Jen and Nancy were left without a venue and their $34,000 deposit. They acted quickly, becoming the first couple to sue the owner for their stolen funds. The couple didn’t let the unfortunate event break their spirits. They had an absolutely gorgeous wedding that showcased their love for each other.

After a City Hall ceremony in Manhattan, the couple led a parade, complete with a New Orleans style jazz band, across the Brooklyn Bridge! We love the seeing the excitement of the group as they dance along to the band’s music!

The party continued in DUMBO, Brooklyn at the Brooklyn Bridge Park. How cute were Jen and Nancy during their carousel ride? We love Jen’s flower crown and Nancy’s flower necklace.

The group moved to the Powerhouse Arena, where the couple held a beautiful, heartfelt ceremony for their guests to experience. After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests hit the dance floor, and the party started!
