We’re Hiring a Marketing Assistant on a Per Project Basis

Our established women-led wedding videography company is looking for a marketing assistant or intern who has an eye for beauty & takes direction + runs with it!

• We need help with three projects: Social Media, Blogging & WordPress Assistance
• Apply to assist in all areas needed or just one – see details of each project below
• This is intern/entry level — there will be guidance & teaching to get you started!
• Work remotely from your dorm room or apartment
• Set your own hours
• Pay will be negotiated upfront & will be paid out on a per-project basis (not hourly) after each project is completed

Social Media (Instagram & TikTok)

• Curate videos to feature from library
• Work with editor on reedits for maximum Instagram reach
• Write meaningful captions
• Coordinate tags & hashtags with another team member
• Adjust Instagram posts for maximum TikTok reach
• Post during peak times

• Ongoing work for the right candidate
• Content will be batched in advance, meaning you’ll work on a month’s worth of content all at once+get paid for that & then have a break in work
• *Required* Personal and/or professional experience with Reels+TikTok
• *Required* Excellent writing skills – No AI

Website Blogging

• Curate videos to feature from library
• Gather wedding details from client questionnaires
• Write meaningful content
• Set up posts on backend of a WordPress website with titles, video, photos, SEO & links

• Ongoing work for the right candidate
• Posts can be batched and scheduled or worked on weekly based on your availability
• *Required* Excellent writing & grammatical skills – Some AI/Some writing

WordPress Website Redesign Assistance

• Assist in migrating a website from one theme to another
• Checking each page to make sure text/photos/videos are showing up correctly
• Troubleshooting & adjusting elements that are messed up or don’t fit the brand aesthetic

• One-time project
• *Required* Available to put in a few hours daily or every-other day (M-F) during a 4-6 week period to launch the site quickly
• Additional compensation available for a candidate with WordPress experience who can set up staging and handle the migration process

Additional Requirements for All Projects

• Current student or recent graduate with a degree in marketing, advertising, public relations, communications, computer science or related field
• Follows directions meticulously
• Eye for beauty & aesthetics
• Excellent communicator
• Digital proficiency
• Figure-It-Out attitude

Application Directions

1. Write a short paragraph about who you are & why you’d be perfect for one of these roles (or more)–a little personality goes a long way!

2. Send a bullet point list, with links whenever possible, of any related work you’ve done or personal profiles that show your talent related to the project’s needs (ex: a beautifully curated Instagram feed of your personal life shows your eye for design)

3. Create an Instagram Collection, Pinterest board or Google Doc with a selection of wedding-related photos that show that you have an eye for aesthetics & the ability to curate
