How did you make your way to working at NST Pictures?
I started my career as an intern at Preston Bailey Designs, a pioneer in event designs and transformations- specializing in luxury weddings. There, I fell in love with the industry. I joined their production team and it was an incredible experience to learn the ropes of event production. But I wanted to learn more! So after graduating college, I moved over to sales and design at Christian Oth Studio. I loved learning about photography. Naturally, when I learned there was an opportunity at NST, I knew immediately that NST was the next step in my career. I’ve learned so much about film and have even learned to picked up a camera and shoot for fun. I have the pleasure of working with a team of talented women that share my love for weddings.
Why did you choose the wedding industry?
Nothing beats the magical feeling of love.
What do you like about working at NST Pictures?
I love watching our wedding films. I get teary-eyed every single time–it represents the talent of our team.
What is your favorite part of your job as one of NST’s Wedding Consultants?
I am a proud supporter of #teamgroomtears. Without fail, it’ll always have me reach for a tissue.
You’ve coordinated hundreds of weddings (literally!) so what wedding videography advice do you have for couples?
Be yourselves–crack a joke, make funny faces and be spontaneous! The most beautiful moments are always candid!
Outside of NST, what other artistic passions do you pursue?
Recently, I’ve started wedding planning for my engaged friends!
You’re more than just a wedding expert though, so to get to know you better, tell us about your ideal day off of work!
Even as a born and raised New Yorker, I love exploring the endless nooks and crannies of New York City. I’m likely touring an unfamiliar neighborhood and trying a different cuisine. Or, if I’m feeling a little less adventurous, I like to binge watch cooking competitions and documentaries.
