Choosing the picturesque Castle Hill Inn in Newport, Rhode Island, as the backdrop for their destination wedding, Catherine and Stuart envisioned a celebration that seamlessly blended timeless American style with the charm of an English garden. Collaborating with Sarah Crowell Lema of Mavinhouse Events, their dreamy coastal vision came to life in exquisite detail.

Wedding Ceremony Sweetness
Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Catherine and Stuart exchanged heartfelt vows in an outdoor ceremony officiated by a dear family friend. Their love was palpable as they shared their first kiss as a married couple, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their journey together.
A Reception to Remember
The festivities continue into the evening with a tented reception dinner. Guests receive a delicious meal and decadent desserts from Confectionery Designs. Against the backdrop of Aretha Franklin’s “You Send Me,” Catherine and Stuart shared their first dance. This was followed by an evening of celebration and dancing to the lively tunes of Beantown.
Halfway through the reception, Catherine changed into a stunning Anna October dress. This was signaling the start of a night filled with laughter and joy. Dance floor props add to the festive atmosphere. The party continued well into the night at Surf Club in downtown Newport. This then culminated in a dreamy honeymoon getaway to Paris and Italy.
