How did you make your way to working at NST Pictures?
I was senior editor at NST Pictures Philippines before I transferred to the US. Before that, I worked as a marketing assistant for advertising and branding. I have always worked as a creative – designing marketing collaterals, planning promotional events and have worked one-on-one with clients on visualizing their ideas.
Why did you choose the wedding industry?
I chose to work in the industry because weddings are a happy and romantic occasion and working in an environment that fosters that just pleases the soul. Wedding films will take you back to a happy time in a couple’s life. It’s something they will look back again and again for years to come and having my work be part of that experience is very rewarding.
What do you like about working at NST Pictures?
Everything is team effort at NST. Everyone helps out however they can to give our the best to our clients!
What is your favorite part of your job as one of NST’s Wedding Consultants?
I LOVE making love stories. It’s very touching and romantic to hear what the couples have been through from their guests’ speeches and their vows. It has become my passion to connect that and mold it into not just a wedding day film, but a cinematic representation of their commitment to each other.
You’ve coordinated hundreds of weddings (literally!) so what wedding videography advice do you have for couples?
Take time to fill out NST’s day-of-wedding questionnaire thoroughly so that on your wedding day, you can actually enjoy each other and the party without having to worry about wedding cinematographers missing any special moments! We love filming couples who are more relaxed because they always give more natural vibes, which ultimately makes a better wedding video!
You’re more than just a wedding expert though, so to get to know you better, tell us about your ideal day off of work!
This is my first time in the Big Apple! I am in “tourist mode” whenever I’m not working: going to museums, discovering new places and food, getting lost in the subway and learning something new every day about the American culture. 🙂
