The Foundry Wedding Video: Modern New York City Vibes

Lauren and Ben are modern artists – she is a director of merchandising and he’s a director of marketing – and their industrial New York wedding fully reflected their contemporary and creative sides. With NST Pictures capturing the wedding video and photographer Amber Gress behind the lens, Lauren & Ben’s wedding was nothing short of a modern NYC fairytale.

They went with a black and white graphic motif but played fearlessly with complementing colors. From matte black flatware, copper Marais chairs, and chic stationery to the music selection in their trailer film below, every unique detail was handpicked to represent their personal style and passion, allowing their wedding to feel that much more genuine to the happy couple.

The contemporary approach was also reflected in their processional songs, which featured Vitamin String Quartet’s renditions of Kanye West’s “Touch the Sky” as well as Bon Iver’s “Calgary,” and the newly-married couple had their first dance to Radiohead’s “True Love Waits.”

The Look
Lauren stunned in a gorgeous Naeem Khan wedding gown with an embellished bodice that was beautifully accented with Miu Miu crystal mid-heel pumps. Surrounded by the bridal party in red, the bride and her friends made quite the attractive ensemble.

Geometric Accents
The gorgeous aesthetics continued into the reception dinner outside in the courtyard at The Foundry. Set against the backdrop of perfect weather, the reception boasted contemporary geometric elements in copper, brass, and stone. Eucalyptus garlands, candlelights, and, of course, incredible food rounded out the stylish dinner.
