Most of our clients book cinematography with us because they want to immortalize the day that they have dreamed about all of their lives and spent months planning in our beautiful cinematic-style films. The movement and sound of film bring you back into the moment like no other medium. It truly lets you relive the glorious cheering of the guests as you’re announced as a married couple, the shock when your partner smashes cake on your face and the sound of your father getting choked up during his toast to your new life together.
Yes! Our packages are a base to build on so you can pick & choose to add on whatever items you’d like. We offer tons of customization options including aerial drone footage, longer films, rehearsal dinner coverage, cultural celebration coverage & more. In addition, our pricing is forthcoming & transparent. It's available to you from the moment you inquire & applicable to whatever venue type you've chosen.
We specialize in short form wedding films to create a keepsake that is long enough to highlight all of the most important details of your day but short enough to watch over and over again. Film lengths & delivery dates vary depending on your package. We know you're dying to see your big day ASAP so each package purchased after September 2023 includes a 15-60 second Social Sneak Peek video delivered within 2 weeks of your wedding. Our cinematic-style Trailer & Feature Films come in increments of about 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 25 minutes and 35 minutes. These are approximate durations. We also offer Spotlight Edits of your ceremony, dances and toasts & Documentary Edits of the entire day so you can watch moments consecutively in their entirety. These can be up to 2 hours depending on how much coverage time you purchased. Films & edits are sent to you as soon as they are completed, with all of your deliverables completed within 5 months of your wedding date. For a more detailed delivery timeline, contact your consultant.
True raw footage is a digital file folder of hundreds of separate video clip files. It is unprocessed, unrefined data straight from the video camera. We shoot with DSLR cameras which results in a variety of clip durations. Footage clips can vary from seconds to many minutes. The footage remains as it was captured, retaining all details, true colors and lighting. Sound files are captured separately & not synced with the video. You need a hard drive to keep these large files. Since many couples do not own the high-powered computers & editing software needed to watch these files, we offer Spotlight Edits & Documentary Edits. We clean up the raw footage by cutting out camera adjustments or repetitive shots and edit it together consecutively. With the Spotlight Edit, we zero in on the most important parts of your day—your ceremony, dances and toasts. The Documentary Edit is an extended version of the Spotlight. It includes everything that was captured during your video coverage time.
Your cinematography budget should be the same as your photography budget. It requires the same amount of work: two people working for 7-12+ hours, running around to get the best angles and carrying heavy equipment, then editing everything to give you a priceless family heirloom that you will cherish for the rest of your life. You definitely don’t want to cut costs on something you will keep forever!
This is one of those times when more is actually more. The more cinematographers you have, the more dynamic, breathtaking and emotional your film will be. Multiple videographers allow us to get stunning angles from the balcony, epic sweeping shots of the ballroom and different perspectives of life as they happen simultaneously, like your grand entrance and your spouse's reaction.
Capturing the beauty and emotion of your day comes second nature to us thanks to our 11 years of experience. Your consultant will be there to guide you through your journey, from the day you reach out until your second anniversary, to ensure a seamless experience . As your vision begins to come together with your planner, you'll fill out a detailed questionnaire about the day's events. A week before your wedding, once things become finalized, your dedicated cinematographer, from our core team, will meet with you to find out what's important to you so we can film and personalize your story accordingly. And our post-production team will take what your cinematographer finds (and films) to curate that story to perfection. So you get a timeless film that's totally you. With every interaction, you can trust us to be transparent, friendly & helpful. Always professional. And always personable.
Still photography is finicky—if you’re blinking in a photo, it’s no good. That’s why we always let your photographer take the lead and work around them. We capture the moving moments in-between photos to make sure you love the way you look in both your photos & videos. If you’re still looking for a photographer, let us know! We have a few colleagues we are happy to recommend.
We welcome recommendations from our couples but unfortunately we cannot accommodate every request. We only use licensed music for two reasons. We purchase the rights to our wedding film music so the artists we love get the royalties they deserve. Secondly, we want to protect you and our company from copyright infringement. If the song you want is not available, we’ll look for music in similar styles and work with you to pick something you’re happy with.
